Mott MacDonald is lenders’ technical advisor to CIC and Auxifip during the development of five wind farms in France.

Mott MacDonald performed technical due diligence to help the portfolio achieve financial close. The consultancy is currently conducting construction monitoring services for each wind farm, including providing monthly memos, drawdown certificate issuance, quarterly construction reports and a completion validation report.

Sébastien Sandmark, Mott MacDonald’s project director, said: “Our technical expertise and reassurance to the lenders throughout the financing phase, plus ongoing diligent reporting during construction, have been vitally important during the financing and construction phases of these wind farms."

Construction of each of the projects is underway, with commissioning scheduled from the end of 2018 through 2019.
