Specialist engineering business Keltbray have appointed Holly Price to the newly created role of group sustainability director. Price, who is currently skills and communities director, will report to main board director and chief operating officer, Vince Corrigan.

The appointment of Price further supports Keltbray’s core aim of redefining the way that sustainable development is delivered and will accelerate the group’s plans to become a more sustainable and responsible business. Price will lead the group’s dedicated sustainability function, taking responsibility for the implementation of Keltbray’s published targets in this critical arena for the business.

She will build on the company’s existing sustainability strategy to continue to bring the UN sustainability goals to life across Keltbray by finding new, greener, more innovative solutions to support its customers and will also have responsibility for environmental sustainability, social value and economic sustainability.

Price will also continue her involvement with Keltbray’s inclusion committee, working with group inclusion manager, Nina Fairfowl, to drive improvements in equality, diversity and inclusion within the company.

Darren James, Keltbray’s chief executive officer, commented: “Holly’s collaborative leadership approach will be instrumental in achieving our sustainability goals across the business, in line with our ambition to be a net zero company by 2040 and create greater social value that helps people and communities thrive.

“Holly brings a wealth of experience to the role and her vast industry knowledge and leadership skills will be integral in driving forward the group’s sustainability agenda, ensuring that we reach our targets.”
