Season's greetings from all of us at Infrastructure Intelligence

This is the final Infrastructure Intelligence e-newsletter of 2019 and it's an appropriate time to wish all of our readers and contributors all the very best for a relaxing and peaceful festive season and a very happy and hopefully prosperous new year.

The past 12 months have been challenging ones for everyone working in the infrastructure sector. Uncertainty has abounded as the politicians have taken their time to remove the Brexit cloud hanging over the industry. Many will hope that the general election result will lead to more clarity and certainty for all those working in construction and it is to be hoped that election campaign words are turned into action as far as infrastructure investment is concerned.

If the promises made during the general election campaign are fulfilled then we can all look forward to a busy year ahead in 2020 for infrastructure. Let's hope that is the case. Whatever happens, you can rest assured that Infrastructure Intelligence will keep on bringing you all the latest news, views, opinion and features about the great industry we all work in that is so vital to the health of the UK and global economy.

So, a big bundle of festive greetings to you all from all the team here and we'll be in touch again when our e-newsletter returns on Tuesday 7 January 2020.

Happy holidays!
