Showcase series for firms looking to work overseas

British Expertise International is organising a series of events to help infrastructure firms looking to export their services overseas. The showcase series of online events, highlighting projects that received awards at the recent 2020 British Expertise International Awards, will feature some of the best of UK expertise in infrastructure and international development internationally.

The event series is free to attend and will provide an opportunity for learning and knowledge sharing from a range of projects across a number of current topical themes. The areas to be covered by the events include Latest innovations in Climate Resilience, Climate Monitoring and Disease Control; Creative approaches to achieving positive social impact in international education projects; Effective strategies for working with government clients internationally and Addressing resilience and sustainability in international projects.

The British Expertise International Awards are the UK’s main forum for celebrating the very best of UK infrastructure exports and entries are open to all UK-based professional services firms working internationally. UK consultancy and engineering firms have always done well in the awards and the sector will be well featured in these showcase events.

BEI CEO Derrick Sanyahumbi commented: “The UK’s infrastructure exporting firms are widely recognised as world leading and the skills and services they provide are even more important in challenging times. Their skills will be ever more in demand as the UK and the world looks to recover and rebuild from the impacts of the global coronavirus pandemic.”
