UK engineering and consultancy excellence – your achievements rewarded

The current economic upturn has set the scene for a bumper entry of business success stories for the 2014 Engineering Excellence Awards.

The call for entries for the 2014 Engineering Excellence Awards is now open to provide businesses and individuals in the UK consultancy and engineering community with a fantastic opportunity to celebrate some extraordinary performance.

And after nearly five years of faltering and near treacherous economic conditions across the UK we at last start to see a return to sustained, if somewhat subdued growth across the wider economy and with it a greater sense of optimism across the engineering and consultancy sector.

Forced into shape by the battle to deliver for their clients while facing falling revenues and the need to control expenditure, the upturn looks set to provide the sector with a much needed and welcome opportunity to stand back and celebrate success.

Entries are now sought across the ten categories of the Engineering Excellence Awards, each designed to reflect the range and scope of activities and skills demonstrated by ACE member firms throughout 2013.

The outstanding achievements of the last year by will be rewarded and celebrated

An expert panel of judged has been assembled for this year’s awards including London Underground director David Waboso, Costain managing director Darren James, Curry & Brown managing director Drew Ritchie and ICE president Geoff French.

Performance will be judged based on examples of work carried out for clients since January 2013 on projects in the UK or on international projects that utilise UK based staff.

Winners will be announced at the ACE Engineering Excellence Awards which will be held at a special gala dinner at London’s Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel on 21 May.

Visit www.acenet.co.uk/EEAcallforentries for further information and to enter online. Entries must be received by Friday 14 February 2014.
