Expert panel appointed to advise government's Infrastructure Finance Review

The government has appointed a 21-strong expert panel to provide advice to the ongoing Infrastructure Finance Review.

The review is being carried out by HM Treasury, with support from the Infrastructure and Projects Authority, to “ensure the government continues to have the right tools in place to support private infrastructure investment as the UK leaves the EU.”

Supporting the work of the review, the expert panel will provide advice during the review process and input on the challenges facing the infrastructure market and how they can be addressed.

Charles Roxburgh, second permanent secretary of HM Treasury, and Matthew Vickerstaff, deputy CEO and head of project finance of the Infrastructure and Projects Authority, will co-chair the panel.

The 21 panellists are:

The Infrastructure Finance Review will conclude alongside the National Infrastructure Strategy in the autumn.
