BOOK NOW for webinar on Construction Talent Retention Scheme

The second of two webinars organised by the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) to explain the practicalities of how the new Construction Talent Retention Scheme (CTRS) will work takes place on Friday 7 August and is aimed at individuals in the construction industry who might be looking for work.

Following a successful first webinar aimed at businesses, this second event will help candidates make the most of the government and industry-backed free skills platform by showing candidates how they can find contract or permanent roles, upload their career details, and more. There are already more than 450 businesses signed-up from across the construction industry and a pipeline of hundreds of roles going live over the coming weeks, including from consultancy firms like WSP and Tony Gee.

ACE has been instrumental behind the scenes working with its partners from the Construction Leadership Council to make the new scheme a reality. They hope it will help the industry avoid, as much as possible, the talent drain witnessed in previous recessions.

Webinar attendees will have an opportunity to see a demonstration of the technology behind the platform and will hear from ACE chief executive Hannah Vickers, Stuart Young from the Department for Business, Enterprise and Industrial Strategy and Chris Jarman from Talent Retention Solutions.
