EU vote being debated at the ACE national conference

A debate on the implications for leaving the EU will has been added to the programme of the ACE national conference. Speakers on this subject are being confirmed but the debate promises to be a stimulating addition to the line-up which already includes a number of high profile speakers.

These include David Hannock Head of Construction at the Cabinet Office, talking on the role government will play on boosting construction efficiency. Colin Smith, Partner, Transaction Services, Energy, Utilities & Infrastructure at PwC will look at the challenge of investing in the UK’s critical infrastructure. This is to be followed by a client panel session with HS2’s Beth West, Tidal Lagoon Power’s Andrew McNaughton and Ian Piper from the Homes and Communities Agency.

Other speakers include Lady Barbara Judge, Director-General Institute of Directors speaking on energy,  Ed Cox, Director IPPR talking about the Northern Powerhouse and Stewart Hosie, SNP deputy leader on devolution.
