Bradfords supports front-line workers through pandemic

Bradfords supports front-line workers through pandemic.

Independent builders merchant Bradford Building Supplies has been working urgently to support those on the front-line of the Covid-19 pandemic with priority works.

The Builders Merchant Journal reports that this includes supplying NHS trusts across its area with much needed materials to allow them to create the temporary additional capacity they need to be able to cope with the Covid-19 situation.

The company also provided a regional home developer with a floor levelling compound to finish urgent work on a home for an elderly couple who’ve been staying in a hotel, which is now shutting due to Covid-19.

It also made an urgent delivery of cleaning materials including disinfectant, surface sanitising spray, antibacterial hand wash, toilet rolls and latex gloves to an assisted living and extra care accommodation company.

The urgent priority work comes as the firm is also continuing to service customers with deliveries.

The company said in a statement: “We have implemented and are closely following government guidelines and want to reassure our community we are doing everything we can to keep the highest safety measures in place. Our teams will continue to support priority building works and projects as long as it’s safe to do so.”
