Construction sector firms urged to complete coronavirus industry survey

Leading construction sector trade and representative bodies have teamed up to launch a survey for the industry to help inform a united response to the ongoing crisis.

Bodies including the Association for Consultancy & Engineering, Build UK, Chartered Institute of Building, Civil Engineering Contractors Association, Construction Plant-hire Association, Construction Products Association, Electrical Contractors Association, Federation of Master Builders, National Federation of Builders and the Institution of Civil Engineers have all joined forces as part of their response to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

The survey seeks firms’ views on whether the government’s measures to address the crisis are useful to businesses. It also asks companies about the direct impact of coronavirus on industry businesses and seeks information on how likely firms are to be impacted by the current crisis, in terms of their ability to keep trading. It also asks what actions companies would you like to see from government and also industry in relation to the Covid-19 crisis.

Individual responses to the survey will remain confidential and only be used to help inform the industry’s lobbying of government on this crucial issues.
