Holyrood to host ACE Scotland summer soirée

The Scottish parliament building in Edinburgh.

Leading figures from the consultancy and engineering sector and the wider construction industry will be gathering in Edinburgh next month as ACE Scotland holds its summer networking reception in the garden lobby of the Scottish parliament on Thursday 13 June from 5.30-7.30pm.

Open to all, this timely event is taking place following the launch of the new Infrastructure Commission for Scotland and ACE’s Future of Consultancy campaign. Collectively, these initiatives aim to prioritise Scotland’s infrastructure spending needs over the next 30 years and better understand how technological advances will shape the way engineering services are delivered.

Hosted by Linda Fabiani MSP, convenor of the Scottish parliament’s built environment cross-party group, the event offers an excellent opportunity to network with industry practitioners, policy makers, legislators and other key stakeholders from across a diverse range of engineering and infrastructure sectors, including water, transportation, housing and energy.

The speakers will include:

  • Hannah Vickers, ACE chief executive - ACE’s Future of Consultancy campaign.
  • Mark Arthur, chair, ACE Scotland - Supporting the business needs of Scotland’s engineering and infrastructure community.
  • Emil Rangelov, founder and CEO, HV Systems – Delivering the next generation of hydrogen vehicles.
  • Brian Graham, account executive, Brunel Professions – Latest developments in professional indemnity insurance.

The event is free to attend, but registration is required for security purposes. Click here to register a place
