Winners announced on £1.5bn YORbuild Major Works framework

Eight contractors announced on new £1.5bn YORbuild major works framework in Yorkshire and Humberside.

BAM, Bowmer & Kirkland, Galliford Try, Interserve, Kier, Morgan Sindall, Wates and Willmott Dixon have all secured a place on YORbuild’s new £1.5bn major works contractors framework.

The new regional construction framework is set to deliver major building works projects worth over £10m, primarily for the Yorkshire and Humber region’s 22 local authorities, other regionally based public sector bodies and third sector organisations. 

It will be managed on their behalf by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Leeds City Council, Scarborough Borough Council and Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.

The framework consists of two major lots.

Lot 1. Projects over £10m up to £30m:

  • BAM Construction Limited;
  • Bowmer & Kirkland Limited;
  • Galliford Try Building Limited;
  • Interserve Construction Limited;
  • Kier Construction Limited;
  • Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure Ltd;
  • Wates Construction Limited;
  • Willmott Dixon Construction Ltd.

Lot 2. Projects over £30m:

  • BAM Construction Limited;
  • Galliford Try Building Limited;
  • Interserve Construction Limited;
  • Kier Construction Limited;
  • Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure Ltd;
  • Wates Construction Limited.
