Turner & Townsend selected to support BP onshore

Global professional services consultancy Turner & Townsend has been chosen to deliver quantity surveying and cost management services across BP’s onshore facilities in Scotland including the Sullom Voe Terminal in Shetland and the Forties Pipeline System of pipelines and terminals. This will support all of BP's activities across both investement and maintenance aspects of the energy giant's annual work programme at a number of onshore locations.

The consultancy’s role is to deliver improvements in managing spend and value for money across areas including independent estimating, cost engineering and assurance, quantity surveying, contract and supplier management, risk facilitation, and planning and scheduling.

BP is already one of Turner & Townsend’s biggest clients. Current and recent BP assignments include projects on the North Slope of Alaska, BP’s pipelines and logistics programme in the US), Quad 204 and Clair Ridge in the UK and Khazzan in Oman.
