Master planning for net zero online event

An online event organised by the Association for Consultancy and Engineering is set to explore the role of consultancy firms in leading and delivering effective net zero master planning.

Some of the big challenges for net zero implementation are now moving from national policy towards the practical decisions and trade-offs that have to be made at sub-regional level where the different strands of energy/transport systems/technology/spatial planning need to be blended together into a credible and investable master plan.

A webinar on Thursday 25 November from 1pm-2pm will explore the issues. The session will be chaired by Sarah Prichard (Buro Happold), chair of the joint ACE/EIC net zero group and joining her will be Carlo Castelli (Jacobs) and Sarah Cary (Enfield Council) who will talk about the Meridian Water development as an example of master planning within a carbon free context.

The event is open to all ACE and EIC members.
