Griffiths & Armour celebrates its 80th anniversary with fund raising year

Griffiths & Armour this week marked its 80th anniversary in business as insurance brokers and celebrated with staff and partners in a 1930s style charity dinner.

"We would like to thank all those who have contributed to our success and in particular the hard work and dedication of our team, who are the foundations of the firm," said 

The firm has grown considerable in scale and range since Mr Kenneth Griffiths and Mr George Armour set up their plate back on 1st October 1934. While it continues as a partnership, it has morphed into a truly global business. 

Throughout the year staff at the firm have been busy marking the year witha range of charity fund-raising event which aim to raise £80,000 between its two chosen charities KIND and Prostate Cancer by baking, running, cycling and walking their way to raise cash.  

Now over half way to the target, it has challenges planned for the remainder of this anniversary year, and it expects to reach the target within the year. 

To mark the aniversary on Friday 26th September staff and partners of the firm enjoying a mid-morning coffee break, reputedly typical of the 1930’s, followed in the evening with a 1930's themed 80th party at the Liverpool Town Hall.
