British Expertise International COP26 events series

British Expertise International (BEI) is holding a number of events throughout COP26 that will aim to highlight and showcase some of the leading BEI membership capabilities across this critically important subject.

A webinar on Thursday 4 November (from 10-11.30am) will explore The Built Environment and will see members of BEI’s extreme weather and climate resilience sub-group and other expert panellists give their insight and overview of an increasingly important sector.

Wednesday 10 November (1-3pm) sees the publication and launch of three reports produced by the BEI climate change working group. The reports, covering Extreme Weather, Nature-based Solutions and Built Environment, will provide a unique framework to help stakeholders understand available solutions and showcase members’ expertise and capabilities in delivering these solutions.

Once COP26 has closed, BEI will be looking to deconstruct and break down the outputs that have been agreed at the conference and to that end they are putting together an expert panel to discuss what it all means for UK private sector organisations. This virtual webinar will be held on Wednesday 17 November from 2-3.30pm.

BEI is the leading business development network for UK-based companies exporting expertise in infrastructure, capacity building and international development services, particularly to fast-growing, emerging and developing international markets.
