Motts flying high in inclusion Top 50

Mott MacDonald has been placed 17th in the list of the Top 50 employers for inclusion in the UK. The ranking, which is powered by the Excellence in Diversity Awards, puts Motts ahead of all other UK construction, infrastructure and engineering firms.

The Inclusion Top 50 recognises firms doing most for the promotion of diversity across grounds of age, gender, disability, LGBT, race, faith and religion.

Mott MacDonald was a finalist in the diversity category at this year's Association of Consultancy & Engineering Awards and won NCE's diversity champion of the year award.

Mott MacDonald’s equality, diversity and inclusion manager Richard Chapman-Harris said: “We are proud to be recognised in The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers, which highlights the real and tangible engagement and support for equality, diversity and inclusion in Mott MacDonald.”

“Our Advance employee network has connected passion from our leadership with active engagement from staff across the UK. We have worked across several diversity strands and focused on themes that support a positive working environment, such as greater workplace agility and tackling unconscious bias."

Paul Sesay, CEO of The Inclusive Top 50, said: “It is crucial to highlight best practices in workforce diversity. There is a need to promote these practices and the organisations carrying out pioneering work in this arena to set an example to other employers across the UK.
