Company profile

We deliver solutions that meet the challenges of living and working in the 21st century, delivering expert advice, technical assistance and project management to clients across the globe to help change, shape and develop the world’s landscapes, societies and economies for the better.

Our in-house team brings together more than 1,500 specialists from a diverse set of disciplines. Our connections expand even further as we bring together a network of over 20,000 partners and associates from around the world. We are project managers, planners, surveyors, environmental specialists, engineers and business service professionals. Together we form the teams our clients need to bring their project ambitions to life.

Making projects possible

We provide leading services to major blue-chip clients to help create strategic commercial assets and support governments and donors in international development. In the UK, we engage at a strategic level to optimise solutions which generate value for our clients, and often continue to advise our clients through the lifecycle. The breadth of our in-house expertise allows us to provide a unique integrated approach to solve complex challenges wherever in the world our clients need us.

Outside the UK, we are a leader in international development, exporting our knowledge and networks to undertake ambitious projects that make a positive global impact:

  • Fragile states and stabilisation – working with government and donor clients to deliver humanitarian programmes, create stability and facilitate post-conflict restructuring across many fragile states
  • Supporting population growth whilst preserving the global environment – working with private, public sector and donor clients to ensure that the world’s growing population has access to the necessary energy and water infrastructure whilst minimising carbon impact and climate change. This challenge is faced by developed, emerging and third world economies alike; and
  • Urban development and connected cities – planning, optimising and developing infrastructure related to population expansion, urbanisation and transportation as the world seeks to become super-connected.

Services

Whether it’s advising on planning and transport issues, providing engineering or environmental services, advising on waste and resource management, providing project management and due diligence advice, or supporting economic and social reform, we balance your commercial objectives with the need to develop and perform more sustainably, ensuring we have a positive impact wherever we work. We have the expertise for every stage of a project’s life-cycle from initial feasibility studies, planning and design to construction, completion and ongoing management.
