Reporting to the Senior Primary Plant Engineer and working as part of a dedicated multi-disciplined engineering team the ideal candidate should have substation design experience and have a relevant Engineering Degree. You will be responsible for the delivery of Substation Primary Plant designs for a variety of clients with voltages ranging from 11kV to 400kV whilst providing support to other Engineers/departments within the Engineering Department.

Requirements 

Qualifications and Training

  • Accredited BSc/BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Member of a Professional Institution
  • (Desirable) Chartered or Incorporated Engineer or working towards professional registration.

Technical skills and experience

  • Proven track record in delivering Substation designs.
  • Fully Conversant in Auto-Cad and Microsoft software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support project deliverable
  • Fully conversant with technical specifications and requirements
  • Ability to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering design studies and working systems
  • Experienced in managing external contractor
  • Client focused approach to service delivery
  • Co-ordinate workload for efficient delivery of design drawings.
