British Expertise Awards – shortlist revealed to reward UK excellence abroad.

Outstanding performers revealed across British construction, development, architecture and infrastructure overseas.

British Expertise Awards 2015

The cream of UK consulting excellence working abroad is highlighted in this year’s British Expertise Awards shortlist revealed today.

British businesses from across construction, development, architecture and infrastructure overseas are rewarded for their contribution, which now accounts for 10% of UK exports and 24% of UK services exports and which last grew by 120%.

"This year's shortlist demonstrate the strength of UK expertise delivering infrastructure and development services around the world.” Tracey Smith, chief executive, British Expertise.

“The UK professional services sector continues to make a massive contribution to the UK economy,” said Tracey Smith, chief executive of British Expertise. “This year’s record awards entry numbers and the quality and diversity of entries demonstrates the strength of UK expertise delivering infrastructure and development services around the world.”

Following a rigorous judging process by a panel of authoritative industry experts chaired by HRH the Duke of Gloucester, the shortlist has been drawn ahead of the winners being announced in April 2015.

The Awards are supported by key players in the professional services sector. The Lead Sponsor is Cardno Emerging Markets. Further sponsors include Adam Smith International, Beckett Rankine, ESL Group, Hyder Middle East, The Leadership Trust, Maxwell Stamp, Mott MacDonald, Polypipe UKTI and WYG.
