ACE and EIC launch Social Value Matchmaking Service

The Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) and The Environmental Industries Commission (EIC) are launching a new Social Value Matchmaking Service.

Businesses will be able to find out more at a free, live webinar taking place on Wednesday, May 29.

ACE and EIC are connecting small and medium-sized companies with leading engineering consultancies to address social value challenges and opportunities.

The service will bridge the gap between SMEs eager to make a positive impact in their communities and large consultants wanting to share their expertise.

SMEs will gain access to valuable guidance, resources and strategic partnerships, allowing them to embed social value into their projects and all participants will benefit from knowledge sharing.

By engaging in this initiative, companies become part of a powerful force for positive change, amplifying the collective impact on society.

The webinar on May 29 -  Empowering Impact: Social Value Matchmaking Service – takes place from noon-1pm.

This introductory event is an opportunity to discover how the new Social Value Matchmaking Service can help your business.

It will include:

  • The chance to find out about opportunities to collaborate with other ACE and EIC businesses for the benefit of industry and society.
  • Expert guidance on delivering and communicating effective social value initiatives.
  • Case studies and expert discussions about effective social value practices and potential obstacles.
  • Engagement with a panel of experts to get your questions answered live.

The expert panel comprises Kate Jennings, chief executive officer of ACE & EIC; Piers Burroughs, chair of the ACE SME Council and managing director, Burroughs; Alex Lawrence, social value director at Ramboll; Bianca Laura Latini, associate sustainability engineer and social impact lead at Buro Happold and Mark Bolger, managing director of the Social Value Consultancy.
